Bleacher Report

From 2018 until 2021, I was a Production Assistant for the Social Stories team at Bleacher Report. I assisted the producers on my team in brainstorming and creating content for our social media pages and YouTube channel.

Previously, I produced Bleacher Report’s Snapchat Discover story through its many forms, including the latest called B/Ragging Rights, that highlighted the top stories and players in the NBA.

I also assisted with studio shoots with numerous guests that have come by the office through the “B/R Circuit,” in order to create content for our YouTube page. Guests have included Tony Hawk, Snoop Dogg, DaBaby, Rhys Hoskins, DeAndre Hopkins, and other celebrities, rappers, and athletes. I conduct research and help prep any props that are necessary for the shoot. While working remotely in 2020, I helped producers execute shoots with guests over Zoom, including an Instagram stories series with Curtis Granderson during the MLB playoffs.

A project I worked closely on is supercut videos showing every dunk from Rudy Gobert and Giannis Antetokounmpo during the 2018-19 season. I personally logged every dunk (game, score, time, quarter, etc.) and then downloaded each clip to be used in the final cut. I also worked with an editor to put the supercuts together.

I also produced one of our weekly countdowns, which highlighted Giannis Antetokounmpo’s best dunks up to that point in the 2019-20 season:

For Halloween 2020, I pitched an idea for our audience to pick their “Halloween Dream Team” of famous Halloween monsters. We ended up executing that idea, and I worked with another producer and an IC to bring it to life on our Twitter and Instagram pages for our B/R Gaming portfolio brand.

An example of a man-on-the-street shoot I helped produce is Fans Recreate Iconic NBA Dunk Contest Dunks, in which we asked people in Times Square to recreate their choice from three iconic Dunk Contest dunks on a children’s basketball hoop. I attended the shoot and worked with one of our AP’s to see it through the entire editing process:
